On a miserable, wet Friday evening some 200 guests joined the directors and staff from Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam as the Company hosted its annual Cocktail Party. Once again, the venue of the Garden Lounge proved a big hit as did the tasty nibbles provided by the Hong Kong Club Chef and his team. John Battersby, unusually, gave a short welcome to all and thanked everybody for yet another fulfilling 12 months. As the years go by, the theme is invariably “we’re still here” followed closely by “where did that year just go?”.
Thanks go to Phoebe and the rest of the team in Administration who organise this event and make sure that none of us go home without our umbrellas, bags etc.
