13 years project experience with contractor as engineer involved in: design of piled foundations, earthworks lateral support, retaining walls and related geotechnical analyses; preparation of construction method statements, planning and programming; tender submissions; procurement of sub-contractors; and site supervision of civil engineering and building works. Through this experience has developed an in-depth working knowledge of construction processes which has been applied extensively to the research and analysis of the causes and effects of delays and disruption to construction and engineering works.

On the basis of this experience and knowledge acts on behalf of clients, either as a senior member of a team or supervising others in a team, in the preparation/assessment of claims for delay and disruption with particular expertise for programming and engineering analyses of the causes and effects of delays and disruption to construction and engineering works. Such analyses together with the associated programming and engineering presentations to demonstrate whether or not there are links between the alleged causes and effects and if so the extent of delays and/or disruption arising therefrom have been carried out under the direction of and to assist expert witness several times in arbitration.
